It’s very clean and friendly there they are very thorough and take their time. The people that work there are so nice I had never been to an eye dr before and they explained how it works and what they would be doing. My dr I had found my eye issue and helped me get the help That o needed and what Dr I would see next.

Absolutely the best of the best. All of the Doctor’s there with whom I’ve interacted are outstanding and that included Dr. Bakru, Dr. Lee (the best of the best) and Dr. Phillips himself. In addition, every member of their staff is well-trained, knowledgeable, professional and exceptionally nice to their patients. There is simply nothing I could find to complain about, not even a nit to pick. My cataract surgery and the light adjustable lens I had implanted have been miraculous. I’ve needed progressive corrective glasses since my early forties. Cataracts developed on both eyes (one more severe than the other) over the past 5 years. Today I don’t need glasses at all for driving, distance vision, night driving or even reading (although very occasionally I use plus 1.25 reading glasses to slightly enhance very small and low contrast print or screen content). I’m into my 80s now but my vision is as good, or better, than when I was in my 30s. I totally trust the entire staff and like them as well. I am a happy patient of Dr. Phillips Eye & Surgery Center.

Maria Sealco is very good technician at flemington office . She took her time to checkup my dad’s eye. She was very patience and provide great service.

Every member of the staff is beyond sweet. They’re busy so there is a wait but they use advanced tech and they take their time w you. dr. Moriarty is absolutely amazing. She’s genuinely caring and knows her stuff and she knows when to call colleagues to assist in difficult diagnosis. And Dr. Lee is amazing. She is working hard to try and find the systemic cause for an eye issue, something so few doctors are willing (or want) to do these days. She listens and has a wonderful bedside (chair side?) manner. Thank you to both of you! The optician is also the sweetest woman! Highly recommend. And yes there is sometimes a wait there, but I bring my phone and try to be patient bc these docs are worth the wait!

To preface, I see Dr. Phillips himself for ophthalmology for my condition, pseudotumor cerebri. I have never had a complaint in the past few years going to this practice or any of the other locations. The staff are kind and courteous, and Dr. Phillips himself is a very nice, charismatic, and intelligent doctor. He also focuses on an all-encompassing approach for my condition, meaning he doesn’t just stop at medication, but also focuses on the best testing and lifestyle approaches available. He has been inclined to try to get me off the diamox I am on using for my pseudotumor cerebri using weight loss approaches such as medications and lifestyle adjustment, as well as referring me to other resources on nutrition such as lectures and books by Dr. Lustig, a well-respected endocrinologist studying and lobbying for metabolic syndrome and advocacy for those with obesity. He is very knowledgeable and, needless to say, knows what he’s talking about. I will say, the wait in his office, especially the Flemington location, is long and you should put aside at least an hour towards waiting if you plan on using that location, but his Clinton office is much less packed and you have a drastically lower wait time. Additionally, try not to call in the last hour at the end of the day, as the staff may neglect to answer the phone, and you do have to remind the office staff to forward your chart at the end of each appointment, as they tend to forget, assuming the doctor you wish to forward your chart to is not part of Hunterdon Healthcare. However, I feel as those these do not overshadow the patience, kindness, and professionalism of the practice at large, as I have never had a bad experience with them. I always leave with a smile from his office, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you, Dr. Phillips, for everything!

Dr Phillips recently did cataract surgery on me. He was understanding and validated my fear that having someone messing in your eye can provoke anxiety. He did a great job on the day of surgery, and the day after, making sure I understood how he’d corrected my severe astigmatism and how he worked with the fact my pupils don’t dilate as well as most people at the time of surgery. I highly recommend him as an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon.

I would recommend Paul Phillips Eye&Surgery Center to everyone. They do the most thorough exam I’ve ever had and everyone was extremely nice. Dr. Phillips has to be the most down to earth doctor I’ve ever been to. 10 out of 10.
