Dr. Munitz is an optometric physician who has been practicing in New Jersey for over 20 years. He joined with Dr. Paul Phillips in 2000. He provides comprehensive eye care to the community, with a primary focus on medical management of eye diseases. Utilizing the latest in diagnostic technology, common conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration can be detected during an examination and treated to prevent vision loss.
He is also able to manage other conditions, including dry eyes, uveitis, and diabetic eye disease, as well as delivering post-operative care for many ocular surgeries. Dr. Munitz specializes in the latest technology in contact lens fitting, utilizing hybrid and some scleral designs for hard-to-fit patients.
Dr. Munitz lives in Ringoes with his wife and three children and has been a resident of Hunterdon County since 1995. He and his family share many friends in the area and enjoy traveling, hiking, and bike riding in the beautiful spaces Hunterdon has to offer.
