The service here is top notch (with one small caveat)! Just to get it out of the way up front, unless you are an early morning patient, it’s not uncommon for appointments to take longer than you think before you get called back, work with the tech and then see the doctor. If you aren’t on a super-tight schedule and can wait an extra 15-20min every time, then no worries. Dr. Lapicki is an OD second to none. Knowledgeable, insightful, caring. Takes the time to solve even the most complicated contact/eyeglass/vision issues (sounds odd, but I’ve had some doozies). And Beth is the…. best… optician… ever, anywhere. She spent over 90min with me, going over the past 4 frames and Rx’s to figure out why I was having such an issue with my newest frames (I stupidly bought elsewhere). Nobody else I’ve ever been to or heard of gives that kind of service these days. Patient for life. (As long as I live in NJ)

Dr Hoffman cares about my families concerns and always comes up with a solution to my issues. The staff is kind and friendly.

Dr. Lee is by far the best eye doc in this area. Most notably – she has a holistic view; when there is an issue with the eye, she also considers other health factors that may be causal or related. Highly recommended.

We recently started coming to Paul Phillips and love their care for our family. However, I just learned that you will no longer be carrying our insurance which is incredibly disappointing. It was also disappointing that when I went to buy new glasses I was informed that you no longer use Chemistrie. I guess I need to start looking for a new eye doctor, which is incredibly sad as Iove Dr. Lapicki. I saw her for the first time a few years ago after I a severe allergic reaction to a medication. She was calm in a very scary situation. Her bedside manner was friendly, professional, and kind. She reassured me that the next few hours were important to pay attention to what I was feelings. A day later I went back for a follow up and she was pleased with what she saw and said I was out of danger and I was going to be ok. It was a wonderful experience even when I was scared that so might lose my eyesight and that is when my family switched. I really hope the company would reconsider getting rid of eyemed, so many people have this insurance and it is so disappointing that I can’t use a doctor that I want.

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST PRACTICE I’ve EVER been to so far in NJ. Switched to PPE&SS after moving to Somerset County 10yrs ago. Dr. Ryan Hoffman is THE. BEST. OPTHALMOLOGIST. I have EVER been to. And an EVEN BETTER HUMAN. He goes ABOVE & BEYOND to care for his patients and is SUCH a GOOD PERSON with a BIG HEART. 💚 MY ENTIRE FAMILY has SWITCHED TO Dr. Hoffman. He WAS INSTRUMENTAL in TREATMENT & helping to FACILITATE my Mom’s CATARACT surgery & her vision has NEVER BEEN BETTER! He has been helping treat my Dad who is a DIABETIC and needs to STAY VIGILANT about his vision / eye health. My Husband & Brother are next to switch to Dr. Hoffman when eyecare is needed!!! 🩵 The OPTICAL DEPT. CANNOT be BEAT because Nina is the MOST SKILLED Optician I’ve EVER had the pleasure of knowing! 💜 She is AMAZING at her job and SO WELCOMING, PATIENT, & KNOWLEDGEABLE. Nina goes ABOVE & BEYOND in regards to customer service and getting YOU the BEST DEAL POSSIBLE for GLASSES / CONTACTS for the BEST current PROMOTION available. She even goes AS FAR AS helping YOU OUT by sending MANUFACTURER REBATE INFORMATION (if applicable & available). She is an ACE at adjusting frames, & knows what she is doing! She is SKILLED and can adjust glasses quickly to ensure COMFORT!! I found my FAVORITE EVER pair of glasses here. She made them fit “Like a glove”! She is also SUCH a cool person to get to know if you’re lucky enough! If I could give 10 stars to this DOCTOR / OPTITION / SUPPORT STAFF…I WOULD. I will NEVER go anywhere else! THE LEVEL OF CARE HERE…IN EVERY DIRECTION is UNPARALLELED. Even making / rescheduling appointments is a BREEZE and RECEPTION is ALWAYS…KIND & ACCOMMODATING. PPE&SS…Please consider accepting Eye Med vision insurance. Some don’t have the option of VSP… Do YOURSELF a FAVOR…give PPE&SS a shot. You WON’T be sorry. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent experience at Paul Phillips in Bridgewater! The office staff is very professional and Dr. Hoffman is the best!

Dr. Bakru and her people are great. Ask tons of questions and they try and usually come up with the correct answer. They are so very pleasant and so helpful. The only thing I do not like is as of December they do not take my insurance anymore. I have been going to Phillips Eye for over 20 years. Now that they do not take my insurance what do I do. I really like this office.

Dr Joan Lee is always extremely thorough and accommodating. I would highly recommend her.
