We are a busy ophthalmology practice with multiple locations looking for ophthalmic technicians. The candidate will be responsible for patient work ups including: taking patient medical history, performing diagnostic testing (Visual Fields, OCT, Optos, fundus photography, corneal topography), and scribing with the physician.
Medical experience preferred and ophthalmology training will be provided. We also encourage people with customer service backgrounds to assist our team in providing the utmost patient care.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, working knowledge of computers and Electronic Health Records. NextGen user a plus.
The candidate will be working at least one evening per week, an occasional Saturday and must be willing to work at multiple locations.
