Ophthalmic Technician
Flemington, New Jersey
Responsible for patient work ups including: taking patient medical history, performing diagnostic testing (Visual Fields, OCT, Optos, fundus photography, corneal topography), and scribing with the physician. Medical experience preferred and ophthalmology training will be provided. We also encourage people with customer service backgrounds to assist our team in providing the utmost patient care.
Scribe Ophthalmology

The Ophthalmic Scribe acts as an assistant to the physicians by listening, observing, and accurately documenting real-time interactions between the physicians and patients. Communicates with patients to obtain their medical history information. During patient visits, the Scribe documents notes in the electronic health records (EHR) system. The Scribe completes all administrative tasks efficiently, such as requesting or printing lab testing results or imaging, obtaining records, completing or sending correspondence, and ensuring availability of medications for patient visits.
